AdWords – The Google Stock Market (Part 1: “Prelude”)

(Welcome to our first blog series! We will be blogging about AdWords and how we are using it to YoYoInk’s advantage. We hope you will find it useful.)
Now that YoYoInk’s site is up. The big question would be:
“How do we spread the word?”
After hours of research, it seems that Google’s AdWords offers the most conversions — visitors that converts into buyers, in our case.
That being said, YoYoInk received a $100 AdWords coupon recently and have started advertising with Google. But as of yesterday, we paused all advertising. Like every other first-time advertisers, we realized that AdWords is a whole giant/stock market by itself. It looks like we needed a whole lot more time, experience and analytics than we thought. In as few words as possible:
- First, find out who is your target audience, their search habits.
- Craft out ads that generate clicks, refining them as time goes on.
- Finally, present a convincing and credible website.
